As Slow As Possible is a four-day residency taking place at Joshua Tree, Los Angeles in June and at Highland Lake in New York in August 2023, respectively.

Each residency will invite four BIPOC local artists to connect and expand their sense of bodies through a one-hour activity led by each artist.

As Slow As Possible as opposed to As Soon As Possible is an act of resistance to the neoliberal framework of hyper-productivity, efficiency, and individualism.

We re-imagine the process of art-making as an act of sharing while entering the post-pandemic era. Within this process, we practice solidarity with radical self-care to connect borders as a BIPOC collective.
